Dakota Lithium batteries are 100% safe, reliable, are manufactured to the exact specifications to meet industry certification standards, including a top of the line BMS and come with industry leading 11 year warranty. They include an active BMS protection circuit that handles cell balancing, low voltage cutoff, high voltage cutoff, short circuit protection and temperature protection for increased performance and longer life. Dakota Lithium batteries have a BMS that can support linking batteries in series or parallel.
Dakota Lithium's signature chemistry, Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4), does not contain rare earth elements (like Cobalt) or heavy metals, is non-toxic, including no lead or acid, is non-corrosive, does not off gas, requires no watering or maintenance, can be placed in any orientation, and unlike other lithium batteries will not explode or catch fire.
A Dakota Lithium battery will discharge normally between a range of -20F and 120F (-29C to 49C). DL batteries are commonly used among ice fishers for their flashers and ice augers, so they are quite resilient and are frequently used in cold climates.
Additionally, they have been in business since 2008, which means our batteries have had years in the field being used in the harshest conditions. Dakota lithium are named the official battery of Bassmaster, as well as the US Boat Manufacturing Industry.  Obviously, we are biased towards our batteries, but we encourage you to take a look at all the options and specifications provided by other companies and choose the one that works best for your specific application and power needs.
Lithium batteries are not only less than 1/2 the weight, charge 5 times faster, and last 4 times longer, they also use almost 100% of the capacity before needing to recharge vs 45-50% for AGM. Another one of the numerous advantages is that they have a higher and more stable terminal voltage throughout the discharge curve, consistently giving your devices more power until the battery is completely dead. With the longevity and performance Dakota Lithium batteries will save you money on the long run-check out the chart on the bottom of this page: https://dakotalithium.com/comparison/  They also provide shore chargers free of cost for all of our batteries over 50Ah's.
